On the 27th, Judge Kim Hye-ryeong of the Seoul Central District Court held a 150 million won damages lawsuit filed by Tzuyang against foot-and-mouth disease (Lee Joon-hee) and state inspectors (national investigation) and ruled in favor of some of the plaintiffs.
The court ordered that 75 million won be paid to Tzuyang for foot-and-mouth disease, and 50 million won of this 75 million won will be paid jointly by the main inspector with foot-and-mouth disease.
The court judged that foot-and-mouth disease and the main inspector conspired to extort money by threatening Tzuyang's private life under the pretext of a joint illegal act and received 55 million won. In addition, 'We signed a risk consulting contract with Tzuyang and received a fair amount of money' did not accept the foot-and-mouth disease's claim.
However, the court did not accept Tzuyang's claim that Tzuyang's private life stored on the mobile phone of foot-and-mouth disease was leaked to the outside, stopping YouTube activities and causing operational losses. The court cannot conclude that information on Tzuyang has been leaked to the outside due to the negligence of the relief service. The damage caused by the public debate claimed by Tzuyang appears to have been caused by a third party more than a year and five months after the racketeering act."
In July last year, Tzuyang confessed that she had been victimized by her ex-boyfriend and former agency representative A for four years, including assault, intimidation and extortion, and that she also worked at an entertainment establishment under A's coercion. In addition, the so-called Cyberrekar Alliance, including the foot-and-mouth disease and the main inspection agency, filed a lawsuit in February 2023 to compensate 100 million won for the foot-and-mouth disease and 50 million won for the main inspection agency, claiming that they threatened to extort 55 million won on the condition of not revealing the fact.
Separately, the Cyberrekka Alliance was charged with extorting money by threatening Tzuyang with blackmail. In September, the appeals court sentenced foot-and-mouth disease to three years in prison, and the main inspector to one year in prison and three years of probation.
