At a certain place in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 17th, Choi Woo-sik met with Sports Chosun and responded to an interview to commemorate the release of Netflix 'MeloMovie'.
"Melo Movie" is a movie-like romance in which young people who want to achieve both love and dreams grow as inspiration to each other.
In the play, Choi Woo-sik took the center stage of the play with a friendly and pleasant personality as 'Gogyeom', who became a critic with a deep affection for the movie. Choi Woo-sik perfectly brought out Go-gyeom's charm, which is somewhat realistic and somewhat ideal, with his unique detailed acting.
Choi Woo-sik said of his counterpart Park Bo-young "He is a lovely actor even when he is not acting, but he was even more lovely when he acted. I realized why people like actor Park Bo-young while filming." In particular, he filmed with excitement, playing Go Gyeom, a character who goes straight from the beginning of the play," he added.
He also mentioned what he cared about to improve his chemistry with Park Bo-young. Choi Woo-sik said, `It was comfortable because it was my first time acting with an actor of the same age. In this work, we were able to act while talking comfortably without looking at each other", he explained.
Regarding the electric pole kissing scene that became a hot topic, Choi Woo-sik said, `Actor Park Bo-young taught and helped me a lot about the unique feeling of the Rocco genre. Before filming the kiss scene, I learned how to get a pretty angle from behind the monitor with the director, and I was able to express it more naturally in the scenes that came out later" he said.
