Seo Inguk & Jisoo to Star in Netflix Rom-Com 'Boyfriend on Demand’

Netflix has confirmed the production, index, and casting of Seo In-guk of the new series 'Monthly Boyfriend'.

The Netflix series 'Monthly Boyfriend' is a romantic comedy in which webtoon PD 'Future', who is tired of real life, subscribes to boyfriends and experiences love through virtual love simulation. It heralds a 'revolution of love' through the unique setting of a love subscription in a virtual world added to the realistic background of an office worker we can all relate to.

First, Ji-Soo transforms into a webtoon PD 'Seo Mi-rae' who dreams of the second time of her love life in virtual reality. Seo Mi-rae, who is accustomed to a life without love in a busy and exhausting real life, enters the virtual world through a 'monthly boyfriend' device he accidentally received. The super-powerful dopamine that came to him, who is tired of social life, awakens the forgotten love cells through romance with unrealistically perfect men in the virtual world. Jisoo, who is showing a new appearance through various works, presents a story that any modern person can sympathize with through 'Seo Mi-rae'.

Seo In-guk plays Seo Mi-rae (Jisoo)'s co-worker and rival webtoon PD 'Park Gyeongnam'. Seo Mi-rae is an uncomfortable person who he doesn't want to encounter more than anyone else, but he is known as a 'Worker (a good worker)' recognized by everyone in the company. Indifferent and a little selfish, he is a person with a secret to a twist, provoking curiosity. Expectations are high for Seo In-guk's performance, which will show a variety of appearances of 'Park Gyeongnam' that will bring a super strong storm to Seo Mi-rae.

Director Jungsik Kim, who cheerfully captures the sympathy of reality, such as 'Drinker City Women' and 'Doesn't want to lose money', draws attention to the directing of 'Monthly Boyfriend'. Director Jungsik Kim has flexibly crossed romance and comic, presenting realistic and exotic romantic comedies. Attention is focused on the romantic comedy "Monthly Boyfriend" that will be shown by the synergy of director Jungsik Kim and actors who have held on to empathy, excitement, and laughter.

The romantic comedy "Monthly Boyfriend" is released exclusively on Netflix, with the collaboration of the "Roco" optimization crew and actors, heralding a revolution in love.
