In the meantime, Park Ji-sung and Evra shared their feelings when they heard that 'Man in Europe 2025' would return and even gave spoilers to special guests. 1. 'Man in Europe' is back in 2025. Did you think you'd see each other again soon? I wonder how you felt when you heard the news of the confirmed season 2.
Park: Actually, I didn't expect to see you again this soon. I heard that many people loved it, but there can be many variables in starting a new season. But I heard that a new season will begin sooner than I thought. Hearing this first reminded me of the junior players I met last season. There will be players who have similar concerns as the players they met at that time, and there will be players who have other concerns, but I thought that I would prepare well this season and help younger players at least a little.
Eh: I didn't expect to be back so soon. Maybe the viewers really liked it. To be honest, I really like this program, too. I enjoyed season 2 more than season 1. I didn't expect it either, but this series is getting better and better. When I heard that season 2 has been confirmed, is it really Lunar New Year??Uh, I was happy like a child. Because this program is more than just a simple thing. Season 2 means you can spend more time with Ji (Park Ji-sung) and learn more about Korean culture and Korean players.
2. 'Best Duo' What did you two talk about when you heard the news of 'Man in Europe 2025?
Park: First of all, I really liked Evra. We talked about making it more fun and more helpful to our juniors than last season.
E: I'm like "Ji, we have to do it!He said ." We have to do it, we have to do better. As you know, Ji and my personality are quite different, but I was really happy. This year, I was excited to find an idea for which special guests to serve. Last year, Rio Ferdinand came, and another special guest will join us this year. So I had a lot of thoughts about how I could do better this season.
3. I wonder what kind of partners you two think each other is.
Park: Even though Evra has a different culture and environment, I think they are comfortable and have a good time together. It feels like we're always together even though we don't see each other often. So I think it's a family rather than a partner or a friend.
E: Of course we see each other as partners (laughs). Ji always says she's on the good side and I'm on the bad side, but I think I'm on the good side and Ji is on the bad side. People may not know it well, but we get along really well with each other. The ground is calmer and I'm passionate like fire, so we balance each other well. The map has a good sense of humor and I'm always full of energy. Gee is trying to calm me down, but it's not working. And you can't even refuse my request because you love me so much. 4. Is there anything that changed after 'Man in Europe'?
Park: Before that, I didn't have the opportunity to meet each of my juniors and talk to them. 'Man in Europe' gave me an opportunity to spend personal time with my juniors and get to know them well, and I was able to look back on my old self. Of course, since then, I have been watching and supporting my juniors more friendly and interested.
E: A lot has changed. My perspective on young players and the culture of Korean players. They are really disciplined and humble. I really like that. But I also found out that sometimes it can be against them. That's what I learned. And some young players have seen players with more European culture and they seem to think "I'm going to score goals, not just pass the ball all the time." Their culture is the kind of culture that feels really appreciated and blessed. So I have confidence in the new generation of young players. So I'm sure that if I coach the Korean national team with Ji, I'll be able to do something really big. I think there's a really big difference.
