Season 3, directed by Kim Hong-sun, who became the first Korean director to hold the megaphone of the popular global series Gangs of London, will be unveiled. Armed with hot Korean-style real action, an overwhelming scale set in downtown London, and a narrative that crosses race and culture, this season is drawing expectations from viewers around the world with a different style of determination and emotion than the existing series.

On the afternoon of the 25th, a press conference was held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Director Kim Hong-sun, who directed the event, and actors Shin Seung-hwan and Lim Joo-hwan attended the event.

The "Gangs of London" series is a British noir action series about a struggle for interest after the assassination of a godfather who dominated the organization in London. Immediately after the release of season 1, it gained explosive popularity with more than 2.23 million viewers, and it is a global box office hit with a BAFTA award and an Emmy nomination.

In season 3, South Korean coach Kim Hong-sun is drawing attention as the first Asian director to serve as the lead director.

The season tells the story of hundreds of people killed across London due to fentanyl-mixed cocaine, plunging gangs into extreme chaos and Eliot Carter, a former undercover cop and now a key figure in the dark, encountering a shocking plot linked to his past while chasing the truth of the case.

Director Kim Hong-sun said, "Unlike previous works that showed underground gangs in the U.K., Season 3 focused on showing chaos and clashes in central London 'Apperground' and reinforced dramatic storytelling centered on characters as well as action." He explained that after securing global recognition through the film 'Wolf Hunt', the joining took place due to the continued relationship with the production team.

Korean actors Lim Joo-hwan and Shin Seung-hwan, who appear in the early part of the series, also shared their field experiences. Lim Joo-hwan said, "Thanks to the director, I was able to participate even though I didn't have to be a Korean actor"I was even asked by foreign actors to speak ill of me in Korea."," he said with a smile. Shin Seung-hwan made use of Gyeongsang-style English to preserve cultural personality"I learned a lot from the British production team's collaborative attitude," he added.

In particular, director Kim said, `I wanted to create the color of season 30 by combining the color unique to British dramas with Korean-style real action,' adding, `I tried to differentiate visually by using outdoor scenes and seasonal sensations.'," he said. Season 3 consists of a total of six episodes, with director Kim Hong-sun directing episodes 1, 2, 7, and 8 as the lead director.

In the UK, Gangs of London Season 3, which already began airing last month, is scheduled to meet with Korean viewers from the 28th through Wave.
