On the afternoon of the 10th, Cha Hak-yeon spoke about playing Kim Min-joon, an aspiring actor who fell in love with Lee Mi-sol (Jung Ji-so) through an interview with the music romance film 「Song of the Sun」 (directed by Cho Young-joon and produced by K-Movie Studio).
The remake of the Japanese movie of the same name directed by Norichiro Koizumi is a story about a woman and a man who can only date in the middle of the night falling in love with each other through music and challenging to achieve their dreams together.
Cha Hak-yeon said "In the movie, there is a scene where Min-joon can't laugh as he is an aspiring actor, but that scene felt fresh again. I'm usually afraid of the beginning, but Min-joon, who tries to act, was also afraid of the beginning and recognized that he was not good at it. I think Min-joon's attitude looks a lot like me. What I felt while doing this movie is that I'm becoming more like the character. It also seems to be learning through characters. JUN.K was a bad actor, but he was fresh. I think those mistakes will help him grow" he said.
"When I think about my debut, I was rather scared to start like Jun-jun, but when I tried, I jumped in fearlessly. I don't know so much that I think I was rather fearless. But looking at my early acting now, I'm so ashamed and I can't even spacing out when reading lines. Still, it seems to have its own freshness at that time. Of course, I still lack acting, but I think I've grown a lot. My immediate goal is to lead a movie or drama. I want to meet the work that leads my drama and movie. Rather than being a "national actor", I want to be an actor that more people see and sympathize with," he added.
Jung Ji-so, Cha Hak-yeon, Jung Woong-in, Jin Kyung, and Kwon Kwon-sol appeared in 'Song of the Sun', and director Cho Young-joon of 'Chaebi' took the megaphone. It will be released on the 11th.
