Coupang Play's popular youth drama 'Boy's Generation' returns for Season 2.

Coupang Play said on the 20th that the production of Season 2 of 'Boy's Generation' has been confirmed"This time, a new story and character will be introduced against the backdrop of a fisheries high school by the sea."

Released in 2023, the season 1 of 『Boy's Generation" captured viewers' hearts at once with its cheerful dialect and bouncy characters set in Nong High School, Chungcheong Province. Immediately after its release, Coupang Play recorded the highest viewership, and the viewership increased by 2,914 percent compared to the first week. The number of cumulative reviews exceeded 590,000, proving both its workability and buzz.




His performance in the award ceremony was also remarkable. 'Boy' Generation' showed off its K-content potential by winning a total of seven awards at domestic and international ceremonies, including the 3rd Blue Dragon Series Awards, 2024 Asia Content Awards & Global OTT Awards, and the 15th Korea Drama Awards.

In season 2, director Lee Myung-woo will take the megaphone again following his previous work.
