Netflix Global Hit Entertainment Physical: 100, confirmed to be produced in the U.S. → Asian version will be released in the fourth quarter of this year

Netflix announced on the 16th that it has confirmed the production of the U.S. version of the Korean entertainment show 『Physical: 100 USA" that captivated the world. This is significant in that the K-survival 'Physical: 100' format has begun global expansion in earnest.
'Physical: 100' is an extreme survival game entertainment performed by 100 people who are proud to be the strongest physical to find the best 'body' with the most perfect physicality. Both season 1 and season 2 made the Netflix Global Top 10 (TV non-English segment) a global sensation, entering more than 80 countries. Season 1, in particular, became the first Korean entertainment to rank No. 1 globally in the category.
Based on the overwhelming tension and scale of the original, this 'Physical: 100 USA' will feature selected elites across sports, fitness, and military fields across the United States to compete in extreme competition to determine the 'most perfect physical'.
Yoo Ki-hwan, director of Netflix's nonfiction division, said, "'Physical: 100' created by Korea is loved by viewers all over the world, proving that Korean entertainment works in the world as well"'Physical: 100 USA' will realize this global expansion of our entertainment industry and expect it to give us another fun compared to Korea's 'Physical: 100'."
Director Yoo added, "In addition, representatives from Asia will compete for pride in the third season of the Korean production of the 'Physical: Asia'," adding, "It is expected to show the audience the true face of a hotter and more advanced physical survival."
Netflix is also preparing a European version of the 'Physical: 100' format, following the U.S. version, suggesting that the survival entertainment series, which began in Korea, is rapidly expanding around the world.
In the fourth quarter of this year, 'Physical: Asia', which expands the world view of the 'Physical: 100' series to Asia, will be unveiled. This season, which will be produced in Korea, will introduce a national competition for the first time in the series, returning to a mega survival in which the physical strongest representing Asian countries compete with their pride. In particular, legendary boxing champion Manny Pacquiao, who represented the Philippines, is drawing more attention with the news of his appearance. The fierce competition between countries, which goes beyond nationality, gender, weight class, and occupation, heralds a new evolution of Korean entertainment and raises global expectations for 'Physical: Asia'.
