Actor Bae Doo-na met the fresh face of youth again through the movie 「Linda Linda」.
The press and distribution premiere for the re-release of the 4K remastering commemorating the 20th anniversary of the film Linda Linda was held at Megabox COEX in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 12th. Director Bae Doo-na, Aki Maeda, Yuu Kashii, Shiori Sekine and Nobuhiro Yamashita attended the scene.
Released in 2006, "Linda Linda" depicts the clumsy and sparkling youth of a high school girl band preparing for a festival to end her high school career and a Korean international student Song (Bae Doo-na), who became a vocalist in an unexpected manner, and director Nobuhiro Yamashita took the megaphone.

"Linda Linda" is a Japanese punk rock band "Blue Hearts" based on the theme song "Linda Linda". Marking its 20th anniversary this year, it will be released in theaters on the 17th in a 4K remastered version. Director Nobuhiro Yamashita, who directed the movie, said, "I was 28 years old when I made this movie"In the past, watching a movie made me feel embarrassed and cringe, but now that I look at it again, to me, who was 28, I did a great job." Finally, director Nobuhiro Yamashita commented on the possibility of making a sequel to 「Linda Linda」, "I often think in my head, but they're not holding an instrument in my head. Maybe even if I make a sequel, I don't think it will contain a band story. We don't have any plans to produce a sequel at this time, but if we do, I don't think the work itself will be simple.'
