On the morning of the 2nd, Disney+ held a production presentation for the new original series 'Polaris' (played by Jeong Gam-gyeong, directed by Kim Hee-won and Heo Myung-haeng) at a hotel in Jongno-gu, Seoul. Jeon Ji-hyun, Kang Dong-won, Lee Mi-sook, Park Hae-joon, Kim Hae-sook, Yoo Jae-myung, Oh Jung-se, Lee Sang-hee, Joo Jong-hyuk, director Kim Hee-won and director Heo Myung-haeng attended the event.

Jeon Ji-hyun "Most of all, it was a work of director Kim Hee-won and writer Jeong Moon-kyung, so I was very greedy as an actor. And most of all, I chose this work because I really wanted to film it with Kang Dong-won before it was too late. Ambassador to the United Nations, Seo Moon-joo, is a person who is involved in an incident and digs into it. He is a quiet, friendly, and courageous man of action."




Director Kim Hee-won said, `I think it will be difficult for Korean directors to think of an actor other than Jeon Ji-hyun if a powerful woman comes out. He is always on the first casting list of directors for a long time. 'Shall I ask you?As soon as I asked him, he contacted me and thought, "I'm on the train."."

Pukguksong is a story about an unidentified special agent 'Sanho' (Kang Dong-won) who has built an international reputation as a UN ambassador facing a huge truth threatening the Korean Peninsula with 'Moonju' (Jeon Ji-hyun) who has to protect her as he pursues the background of the presidential candidate shooting. Director Kim Hee-won, who directed 'Queen of Tears' and 'Vincenzo', director Heo Myung-haeng of 'The Outlaws', and writer Shim Jung-kyung of 'Decision to Break Up' and 'Little Women' made headlines by writing. In addition, the meeting between Jeon Ji-hyun, who has built an international reputation as a UN ambassador, and Kang Dong-won, who plays the role of Cho, Lee Mi-sook, Park Hae-sook, Kim Hae-sook, Yoo Jae-myung, Oh Jung-se, Lee Sang-hee, Joo Jong-hyuk, and Won Ji-an are also expected to appear.

'Polaris' will be released for the first time on Disney+ on the 10th.
