Ko Hyun-jung X Jang Dong-yoon becomes a serial killer's mother and detective son in "The Devil: The Killer's Outing."

'The Devil: The Killer's Outing' (directed by Byun Young-joo, scripted by Lee Young-jong, produced by Merry Christmas, Megamonster, Film Factory Bo, Planning Studio S) is a high-density crime thriller that conducts a collaborative investigation with a mother who is the 'The Devil' whom the detective son hated for the rest of his life, as an imitation crime surrounding a serial killer caught more than 20 years ago occurs. Ko Hyun-jung plays Jeong Yi-shin, a serial killer who murdered five men, and Jang Dong-yoon plays Cha Soo-yeol, a detective who hates her.
The two actors who watched each other on the set gave high praise. Ko Hyun-jung said, `Actress Jang Dong-yoon is a person who has passion and sincerity in acting. There seemed to be no `modest compromise' in his dictionary. I clearly remember trying to produce the best results every time. I think it's because Jang Dong-yoon was able to perfectly digest Cha Soo-yeol's character," he complimented his junior.
In response, Jang Dong-yoon "Ko Hyun-jung was considerate as if I were a senior. It was amazing whenever I had an explosive energy while breathing together, and it was overwhelming even when I relaxed and acted. I wanted to learn a lot from him" expressed respect.
The two must draw a passionate emotional line between suspicion and anger, hate and similarity, confrontation and cooperation in the play. As detailed acting and detailed breathing are essential, viewers' expectations are high on the synergy completed by the combination of respect and consideration of the two actors.
