In TV CHOSUN's new Monday-Tuesday mini-series `Because There Will Be No Next Life,' Han Hye-jin plays Koo Joo-young, the director of the art center's planning department, who is seemingly perfect but lives a fiercer life than anyone else.
'Because there will be no next life' is a comic growth period in which 41-year-old friends who are tired of the same day, raising children, and working life run into Act 2 of their lives every day. Koo Joo-young, played by Han Hye-jin, is a husband from a prestigious university, who seems to have a stable life of hundreds of millions of years, but is struggling to have children in a relationship with her husband who is a silent desire.
In the first still released, Han Hye-jin draws attention by delicately expressing her complex feelings as a wife at the same time as a perfect career woman. In fact, Han Hye-jin carefully coordinated weight loss and costume styling to increase character immersion. He said "Juyoung looked perfect on the outside but thought he was like a child who was not yet fully grown up. It was attractive to see him grow up against a life that didn't go his way," he said.
The production team said, "Han Hye-jin is a career woman and an actor who can express her complex inner side as a human being. We will cheerfully and sincerely solve realistic concerns that many women can sympathize with."
Meanwhile, TV CHOSUN's first Monday-Tuesday mini-series 'Because There Will Be No Next Life' will premiere at 10 p.m. on November 10 and will also be streamed on Netflix.
