'21st Century Grand Prince Lady' first came off the veil in Hong Kong.

On the 13th, 'Disney+ Original Preview 2025(Disney+ Original Preview 2025)' was held at the Cinderella Ballroom at the Disneyland Hotel Conference Center in Hong Kong. On this day, a new MBC drama and a preview video of '21st Century Grand Prince Lady' to be released on Disney+ was released for the first time, drawing the attention of reporters.

Director Park Jun-hwa, who excelled in creating a consensus among the characters with delicate productions in 'What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?', 'Wedding', 'Wedding: Light and Shadows', and 'Love on a Single Tree Bridge', wrote the play by Yoo Ah-in, who won the Excellence Award in the Feature Series for the 2022 MBC Drama Playwriting Contest.

Above all, while expectations are high on the combination and synergy of actors IU and Byun Woo-seok, who are currently drawing the most attention, they are expected to show a new aspect by predicting another life character.

IU plays Sung Hee-joo, a woman who has everything but is annoyed because she is a commoner. He is a competent manager with an outstanding appearance, a clear brain, and a desire to win, but he is a bold character who chooses a contract marriage to overcome the limitations of his status.




Byun plays the role of Lee Wan, a sad man who can't have anything but his royal status. He is a person who hides his fiery heart due to his position as the second son of the royal family, who cannot shine or make a sound.

The two people, who have lived in similar situations but have made different choices, meet a turning point in their lives through each other, face a new inner world, and experience extraordinary emotions. IU and Byun Woo-seok will delicately express the multi-layered changes of these characters and present a heavy presence and exciting chemistry.

'21st Century Grand Duchess' will be released on Disney+ and MBC in the first half of 2026.




Meanwhile, 'Disney+Original Preview 2025' is an event where you can meet APAC (Asia-Pacific) and global original content scheduled to be released on Disney+ in advance. On this day, the general entertainment lineup, including APAC originals in Korea and Japan, was introduced.
