ENHYPEN was selected as a public relations ambassador for Seoul on the 17th in recognition of its global influence.

ENHYPEN participated in the appointment ceremony held at the Seoul Metropolitan Government in Jung-gu, Seoul, saying, "The charm of Seoul in our daily lives, such as where we started music and where we met with ENGENE (fandom name), is endless. We will work hard to make sure that many people around the world love Seoul as much as K-pop."

ENHYPEN plans to promote Seoul's colorful charm at home and abroad in the future and engage in various activities to increase the value of the city's brand. In particular, it is expected that those who represent K-pop as promotional ambassadors will perform well. ENHYPEN previously led K-pop's global status through large-scale world tours and active music activities, as well as showed a powerful impact through collaboration with a number of global brands.




Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon said, `While Seoul is growing into a cultural city beloved by people all over the world, people with outstanding talents in each field, including ENHYPEN, will be a great help as they serve as ambassadors for Seoul,' adding, `We are happy to be able to create meaningful activities to convey Seoul's charm to the world with them.'

ENHYPEN recently released its sixth mini album 'DESIRE: UNLEASH' and has achieved remarkable results. The initial sales of 'DESIRE: UNLEASH' (record sales in a week immediately after its release) reached more than 2.14 million copies. This is the second-largest sales volume among K-pop albums released this year.

Based on this popularity, ENHYPEN ranked No. 1 on the weekly album chart of the Hanteo Chart and No. 3 on the main album chart of Billboard in the U.S. 'Billboards 200'. In addition, Japan's Oricon won three awards, including the latest "Weekly Sum Album Ranking', 'Weekly Album Ranking', and 'Weekly Digital Album Ranking', and Billboard Japan's latest 'Top Album Sales', 'Hot Album' and 'Download Album'.




In addition, the exhibition will be held at Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo on July 5-6 and at Yanma Stadium Nagai in Osaka on August 2-3. As an overseas artist, he entered the Japanese stadium for the shortest period (4 years and 7 months) since his debut.
