Fromis_9 Revives Winter Classic ‘White Longing’ With December Remake

The group fromis_9 calls out Kim Min-jong's 'White Longing' for the first time in 24 years.

As a result of Sports Chosun coverage, fromis_9 will release Kim Min-jong's 'White Longing' remake digital single in December.

Previously, fromis_9 had high expectations by predicting a `new record suitable for the winter season.' The single's identity was confirmed by a remake of 'White Longing'.




'White Longing' is a song released by Kim Min-jong in 2001 and was the follow-up to his seventh album 'Your My Life' at the time, but it was as popular as the title song. Even now, it is a representative winter song that takes over the speakers on the streets in winter. In particular, the chorus of 'White Snow/The whole world is white' is still loved enough to become an essential BGM for ski resorts and skating rinks.

This is the first time that 'White Longing' is officially remade. Unlike many winter masterpieces that were reborn through various artists every year, 'White Longing' has been a song that has retained the sensibility and atmosphere of the original song.

A lot of attention is also being paid to the winter, when it will be warmed with a remake of 'White Longing'.
