In this audition, participants participate as virtual characters, regardless of appearance or gender, and only pure talents such as skills and personality are evaluated. The selected artist is an AI avatar with a digital identity and will be born as an AI virtual idol comparable to Netflix 'Kedeheon'.
In particular, it plans to integrate AI advanced technologies such as music, identity, and performance by introducing a training system differentiated from existing auditions such as motion capture, digital stage manners, and interaction with fans using immersive media. It also plans to continue K-pop contents and virtual syndromes based on AI technology that combines its own IP.
Galaxy Corporation previously successfully held virtual AI auditions in LA, USA and Osaka, Japan. The Seoul hosting is expected to be an opportunity to spread the K-Virtual Syndrome by inheriting this enthusiasm. Jeff Benjamin of Forbes, a U.S. economic magazine during the LA audition, emphasized the status of Galaxy Corporation as a K-pop icon G-Dragon agency, and highlighted that the U.S. audition gained explosive attention and response from local K-pop fans.
Online pre-registration will be held from November 28 to December 12 through the official link to the audition. For the first successful candidates, an offline preliminary round will be held on December 17 at the IFC The Forum (the 3rd floor of Two IFC) in Yeouido, Seoul.
