According to TV Chosun on the 10th, A, a former police officer of the Chungnam National Police Agency, falsely reported hundreds of times and even tried to break into an officetel in Mapo-gu, Seoul in December last year, claiming that a crime had occurred.

Mr. A thought it was a house where a famous trot singer lived, so he tried to make a false report and break into it illegally, but the person who actually lived in this house was not a singer, but a general public with a similar name. In April last year, A was relieved of his position after finding the address of the singer's house on the police's internal network. In October last year, he was arrested by police for pacing inside the building after making a false report.
Mr. A lost his police position at the disciplinary committee last month.
The police handed over A to the prosecution on charges of stalking, false reporting, illegal intrusion, and obstruction of justice.
The number of false reports was found to be as high as 230.
