The recent situation of Taiwan's great director Hu Hyo-hyun (78), who is battling Alzheimer's disease, has been revealed.

On the 15th (local time), Taiwanese media CTWANT revealed his recent appearance, saying it captured Hu Hyo-hyun on a walk.

According to the media, Hu Hyo-hyun took a walk with her son near her house at around 5 p.m. on the 8th. Coincidentally, this day was Hu Hyo-hyun's 78th birthday. Hu was wearing a beige hat and a black jacket. Hu Hyo-hyun and son talked from time to time as they walked down the street and were very casual.

The walk took about 20 minutes in total. Hu Hyo-hyun looked much thinner than before, but her walking speed was stable and healthy.

He officially announced his retirement in 2023 due to his deteriorating condition. As a result, the 2015 film 'Jae-sub Eun-nang' became his retirement work.

At that time, Hu's family retired, but their love for the movie remains unchanged. I will spend time with my family and be more harmonious," he said in a statement.

Currently, Hu Hyo-hyun is reportedly spending her normal life chatting with actors who come home.

Meanwhile, the film 'Jae Sub Eun-nang' won the Best Director Award at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival and the Best Music Award, as well as the Best Director Award at the 2015 Golden Horse Film Festival.
