Actor Choi Woong won a prize along with fellow entertainer Jung Hyun-ho at the men's doubles of the rookie team at the 2025 KATA Amateur Tennis National Competition held at the city tennis court in Yongin's Myeongji area on the 5th.
More than 240 national tennis clubs participated in the tournament, which was particularly fierce, but Choi Woong proved his tennis skills by finishing third in three years.
He previously finished second in the KTA Sports Bucheon Mayor's Cup tennis national competition in 2024 with Park Hye-yeon and won several awards at various competitions.
According to officials, Choi is also good at soccer, table tennis, baseball, golf, and badminton, and his greatest strength is his quickness. In particular, he has been a soccer player until high school and is said to have excellent athleticism, adding to his surprise.
Recently, he participated in the global competition, "Korea vs Indonesia" and "Ragiragi Tennis" with actors Hong Soo-ah and Park Eun-seok to raise Korea's status.
Meanwhile, Choi made his debut as a model for a Bacchus commercial in 2011 and has built his filmography as an actor by showing solid acting skills in a variety of dramas such as tvN 'Guardian', 'Money Game', '100 Days' Prince', OCN 'Duel', KBS2 'Descendants of the Sun', 'Scandal', MBC 'Weight Fairy Kim Bok-ju', and the movie 'Impressionism'.
