Actor Park Joo-ah sheds tears on the 14th anniversary of the death of a medical accident, even refusing to have a funeral for his bereaved family

The sad 14th cycle of actor Park Joo-ah, who has devoted his life to acting, has returned. He was 68.

In 2011, Park Joo-ah suffered duodenal perforation during a kidney resection using a robot and fell into a brain death state.

MBC 'Sisa Magazine 2580' raised suspicions about the cause of death, and the hospital died of possible complications. There is no medical negligence,' he said in a direct rebuttal to the allegations.

Park Joo-ah's bereaved family claimed a medical accident immediately after the death of the deceased and said they would not hold the funeral until the hospital gave a convincing explanation, but the funeral was held after consultation with the hospital about 16 hours after the death.

The bereaved family said "The cause of death of the deceased was duodenal perforation. He filed a complaint with the prosecution claiming that the deceased died due to a medical accident by medical staff, but on December 27, 2012, a year and a half later, the prosecution cleared him of charges based on the results of the doctor's association's evaluation.

At the time, the hospital said "The doctor in charge is absent, but other doctors' medical reviews show that it is not considered a medical accident."

The cause of death is diagnosed as a complication caused by multiple organ failure after surgery, and from the first time you come to the hospital, you have informed yourself and your family of the risk of surgery due to poor conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and decreased heart function," he said.

Park Joo-ah's funeral was held on the 5th, and many of his colleagues and family members who had been with him said goodbye in tears.

Park Joo-ah, who was born in 1942, debuted as a first-term KBS talent in 1962 and met the public through numerous dramas and works.

In particular, even before his death, he performed a lot of activities on SBS 'On Air', 'City Hall', and MBC 'I trusted a man', which made it even more shocking at the time.
