The case of Goyo Anna has come to a conclusion..'Agreed that you're a bully'
It has been confirmed that the Ministry of Employment and Labor has admitted some facts regarding the alleged workplace harassment of the late MBC weatherman Oyoanna, who died in September last year while complaining of workplace harassment.

According to an exclusive SBS report on the 17th, after three months of special labor supervision, the Ministry of Employment and Labor judged that "weather casters do not correspond to workers under the Labor Standards Act", but there was an act that could be considered distressing"We concluded.

This is an unusual decision, which is different from the practice in which the Ministry of Employment and Labor does not judge whether the workplace is bullied if it is not a worker.

Meanwhile, the late Oyoanna died on her own at the age of 28. In January, a 17-character suicide note was found on the deceased's mobile phone that complained of bullying in the workplace, and controversy arose as the contents of the group chat room with fellow weathermen were released.

In particular, the bereaved family filed a lawsuit for damages against A, who was suspected of leading a group bullying. The case was scheduled to be ruled without argument in March, but a hearing date will be designated later as A submitted his opinion just before the sentence.

In this special labor supervision, not only the Oyoanna incident but also the overall organizational culture in MBC was investigated. For freelancers PD, AD, and FD who work in the current affairs and culture sector, they plan to take corrective measures, such as writing labor contracts, in recognition of their worker characteristics.

The official results of MBC's special supervision by the Ministry of Employment and Labor will be announced as early as next week.
