‘Guitar Man,’ Final Film of Late Kim Sae-ron, Premieres May 30



The movie 'Guitar Man' featuring the last appearance of the late Kim Sae-ron will be released on the 30th.

According to the distributor CMNIX Co., Ltd. on the 12th, the movie 'Guitar Man' will hold a press distribution premiere on the 21st ahead of its release on the 30th.

Actor-director Lee Seon-jeong and other cast members will attend the premiere.




The Guitar Man is a musical film about the loss, love, and journey of a genius guitarist, Ki-cheol (Lee Seon-jeong), who tries to find hope through connection with music despite the harsh reality.

Kim Sae-ron, who played Eugene in the play, played the role of a keyboardist who shares his heart with Ki-chul and other Volcano members to find hope for the world.

Earlier, when the music video for the OST of the movie 'Guitar Man' was released, the last appearance was revealed to those honoring him.

Earlier, Kim Sae-ron was found dead at his home in Seongdong-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of February 16. He was 25.

After the death of the deceased, Kim Sae-ron's bereaved family claimed that Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron had been dating for about six years since 2016 on the YouTube channel 'Garosero Research Institute' (hereinafter 'Garoseyeon').




Kim Soo-hyun was 28 years old at the time, Kim Sae-ron was 16 years old, and photos and letters were also released supporting that the two were in a relationship, but Kim Soo-hyun held a press conference and admitted that they were dating, but they were all after they became adults.

Since then, Kim Soo-hyun has filed a lawsuit against the bereaved family and Se-yeon for damages worth 11 billion won.
