According to a daily sports report on the 9th, Chung Myung-hwan died of myocardial infarction at home the previous day. He was 65.
The mortuary was set up in Room 2 of the funeral hall of Gangdong Sacred Heart Hospital. The coffin will be borne at 6:30 a.m. on the 11th, and the burial site will be Seoul Memorial Park.
Jung Myung-hwan, who debuted as MBC's 18th open talent in 1986, appeared in dramas 'Our Heaven', 'About Eyes', 'Heo Jun', 'Isan', and 'Into the Fireworks'.
Known as a fishing enthusiast, the deceased also appeared on FTV (Korea Fishing Channel) 'Fishing Headquarters' to share his updates. In 2015, he was the runner-up at the 14th Bennedom Fishing Championships in Odo Island, Japan.
