Hwang Jung-eum was put on trial in 2022 on charges of receiving 700 million won of loans under the name of an agency with a 100% stake, investing in virtual currency, and embezzling a total of 4.34 billion won worth of company money. Of these, about 4.2 billion won was spent on coin investment, which is causing a growing impact.
The first hearing of the case was held at the 2nd Criminal Division of the Jeju District Court on the 15th, and Hwang Jung-eum, the agency, said only that it is currently investigating the exact facts related to the charges. How the appearance of the broadcast will be adjusted in the future is expected to be determined by the agency's position and legal progress.
