Actor Hwang Jung-eum was in court for investing about 4.2 billion won worth of company funds in virtual currency, and the entertainment program 'SoloRa' expressed reservations.

On the 15th, SBS Plus/T-Cast E-channel entertainment 'Solo Rae' side is aware of the controversy related to Hwang Jung-eum and has asked the agency to confirm the fact. The production team also said that the future editing or direction will be determined by whether the agency responds or not.

'Soloist' is an observational entertainment show about the daily lives of solos, and Hwang Jung-eum appeared as a regular cast member, revealing her daily life with her two sons, and telling her about her current situation after divorce. In particular, the controversy has caused quite a shock, as it has been supported by viewers in a bright and pleasant appearance through recent broadcasts.

Hwang Jung-eum was put on trial in 2022 on charges of receiving 700 million won of loans under the name of an agency with a 100% stake, investing in virtual currency, and embezzling a total of 4.34 billion won worth of company money. Of these, about 4.2 billion won was spent on coin investment, which is causing a growing impact.

The first hearing of the case was held at the 2nd Criminal Division of the Jeju District Court on the 15th, and Hwang Jung-eum, the agency, said only that it is currently investigating the exact facts related to the charges. How the appearance of the broadcast will be adjusted in the future is expected to be determined by the agency's position and legal progress.
