Kang Yoo-seok met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 26th and had an interview with the end of tvN's Saturday-Sunday drama `Someday, the Life of a Major' (played by Kim Song-hee, directed by Lee Min-soo). Eom Jae-il, played by Kang Yoo-seok, is a dog-like personality who likes people. Referring to his similarities with Eom Jae-il, Kang Yoo-seok said "I like people, but the slightly different thing from Japan is that Japan is a brighter friend than me. Looking at Japan, I thought that he was much brighter, more positive than me, more resilient, and a friend who was superior to me. I learned a lot from watching Japan. I thought I should learn more about these good aspects. In the past, I used to approach more, but these days, it's better to rest at home. I think it's because I'm old," he said with a smile.
Kang Yoo-seok then heard about the love line between Um Jae-il and Kim Sa-bi (Han Ye-ji) in the play, saying, "'Then what direction are we going in?' When asked 'We'll know when it comes out, but it won't open completely', I was told 'Please confirm us, too. They said they were dating like a couple over there (Ko Yoon-jung and Jung Joon-won), or they asked me to put in a kiss scene. But the director said, 'No. The writer said, "I talked to you, and you guys are going to go with an open ending. It's a shame." It would have been better if there was more progress, but in the second half, it was kind of like 'What is it?'It ends afterwards, so I think they'll use us better if we do season two. Many people love it, some actors want it, and if all the directors want it, I think we can do season 2. If there is a season 2, I think we will date."
