I.O.I Reportedly Discussing 10th Anniversary Reunion

IOI is a project group composed of Jeon So-mi, Kim Se-jeong, Choi Yoo-jeong, Kim Chung-ha, Kim So-hye, Joo Gyeol-gyeong, Kim Do-yeon, Kang Mi-na, Lim Na-young, and Yoo Yeon-jeong, selected through the Mnet audition program 'Produce 101' in 2016. They were greatly loved by releasing hit songs such as 'too, too, 'Whatman'Dream Girls', and even after the end of their activities, rumors of a reunion were raised steadily.
Since the first reunion theory was raised in February 2019, there have been three additional reunion theories in April and June. The four reunion rumors all ended with 'groundless', but I.O.I. confirmed its nine-member comeback in October 2019, excluding Yoo Yeon-jung and Jeon So-mi. However, the comeback was postponed to December in the aftermath of the Mnet Produce series manipulation incident, and the reunion was eventually canceled due to Choi Yoo-jung's health problems and Joo Kyul-kyung's schedule in China.
And on the occasion of the 10th anniversary, the sixth reunion was mentioned.

Currently, most of the members of I.O.I are working as solo artists. Jeon So-mi is working as The Black Label, Kim Se-jung is Jellyfish Entertainment, Choi Yoo-jung and Kim Do-yeon are Fantagio, Cheongha More Vision, Jeong Chae-yeon is BH Entertainment, Kang Mi-na is Story J Company, and Yoo Yeon-jung is Starship Entertainment.
Each member has a different agency Some members have turned into actors without performing as singers, so it will not be easy to coordinate their opinions.
In fact, the agency of IOI members also showed mixed reactions. Some of the members' agencies said "The members are gathering their will to discuss the reunion", while others' agencies drew the line "It is not a decision yet".
In addition, Joo Kyul-kyung's return to China has already left the Korean entertainment industry, so it is uncertain.

While the production team was found to have arbitrarily manipulated the rankings and was legally punished, it was revealed that IOI also changed the ranking of one final member.
