Lee Sang-min Weds Businesswoman, No Wedding Ceremony Planned



Singer and broadcaster Lee Sang-min announced his remarriage after 20 years of divorce, and his wife is known as a businessman 10 years younger.

According to a media report on the 2nd, Lee Sang-min became an official couple after registering marriage with his wife at a district office in Seoul on the 30th of last month. My wife is a non-celebrity, businessman born in 1983. The two first reportedly met at a business meeting earlier this year. It turned out that the two became lovers within a short period of time and had a three-month relationship.

However, Lee Sang-min does not plan to hold a separate wedding ceremony. It is reported that he chose to skip the wedding and have a small celebration with his family and acquaintances in consideration of his non-celebrity wife and family.

Earlier on the 30th of last month, Lee Sang-min announced the news of his remarriage directly through a handwritten letter. Lee Sang-min said "I'm also very nervous now, as I'm delivering the news. I have a person I love a lot"I'm trying to move on with her in the second act of my life" he said, expressing his trembling feelings.

Lee Sang-min is someone who made me feel like I want to protect him from any hardships, and I think I can spend my whole life happily with him"As he was a precious person he found late, he was so careful that it was delayed to inform people around him. You may have been surprised, but I'd really appreciate it if you could be happy and blessed with us" he said.

Meanwhile, Lee married actress and painter Lee Hye-young in 2004, but they divorced the following year. News of his remarriage will be covered on SBS 'My Ugly Baby' which will be broadcast on May 11.
