IU Donates 200 Million Again to Celebrate May 16th Birthday...650 million this year alone

Singer and actress IU once again expressed her warm heart for her birthday on May 16.

The agency EDAM Entertainment donated a total of 200 million won to four organizations under the name of `IUANA' (IU+Fan Club UANA) on IU's birthday," he said on the 16th. The donation will be used to support poor families, the elderly living alone, young people preparing for self-reliance, single-parent families, and the disabled in Korea.

Donations were given to 'Treaty of Hope', 'Guarantee of the Rights of the Child', 'Happy Giver' and 'Warm Companion'. It will be widely used for various socially underprivileged classes, such as supporting the livelihood of poor families and the elderly living alone, preparing for self-reliance, providing social settlement costs for youth, supporting livelihood, treatment, and education expenses for single-parent families, and supporting spatial welfare and advanced aids for the disabled.

IU has been a good influence by steadily donating under the name of 'IUANA' every year, including her debut anniversary, her birthday, and the New Year's Day. In March, 200 million won was donated to support large-scale forest fire damage in the Gyeongsang area and to improve the treatment of firefighters, and on Children's Day, 150 million won was donated to children and adolescents to practice warm sharing.
