Actor Shin-gu said this on the stage of a special donation performance of the play 'Waiting for Godot' held at the Dal Oreum Theater in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 13th. The performance was planned at the suggestion of two major actors, Shin-gu and Park Geun-hyung, and was set up as a special stage for the young generation born between 1990 and 2006 under the cooperation of the Korean Culture and Arts Commission.
The performance, which ended successfully with all seats sold out, was a meaningful place where the viewing itself led to donations for young theater artists. All ticket profits will be donated to 'Theatrical Tomorrow Fund' to support young theater artists. Performance officials and junior actors who sympathized with the two actors' wishes also joined the audience to add warm solidarity.
Shin-gu Park Geun-hyung's 'Waiting for Godot' has been loved for selling out all seats and standing ovations for the entire round 106 times since its premiere in December 2023 and this donation performance. The performance, which was prepared by the two actors after a long period of consideration to repay the love, was made possible through the cooperation of Arko, who has also been working to support young artists, and added meaning to the last stage of the two actors.

After the performance, actor Choi Min-ho, who participated in the talent donation, was the host of a conversation with the audience with Shin-gu, Park Geun-hyung and director Oh Kyung-taek. When asked "What is Godot to the teacher?" Shingu said "In my life, Godot was prayer"Prayers are in their minds. One of the many challenges of life, such as freedom, love, money, and illness, can be advanced," he replied.
Park Geun-hyung faced Godot countless times while performing the play. There will be a degree of elevation to meet at each point in time", director Oh Kyung-taek said. "'Waiting for Godot' is essentially a work that asks the meaning of 'Waiting for Godot'", and explained, "'A play that waits for the altitude in each person's mind and makes them ask themselves what it is.'"

Chairman of the Korean Culture and Arts Commission Chung Byung-kuk, who watched the performance, said, `It is an honor to be able to join the meaningful proposal of the two actors,' adding, `I hope that the 'Theatrical Tomorrow Fund' created through this performance will become a seed to support young theater artists, spread to more sponsorship, and provide a solid foundation for the future of our theater.'
