The winner of the 2025 CJ Cultural Foundation Stage-Up Creative Musical Contest was announced, Emergency, Star Wars, Ah! Kyungsook! AH, MEN!

Previously, the CJ Cultural Foundation recruited team-level applicants consisting of writers and composers through a public offering for creative musical support projects called 「Stage Up」. A total of five external judges, consisting of experts, announced the four final winners through two rounds of document screening and interview screening.
Through fierce competition, Seo-jeong (composed) and Isaac (composed) ▶'Starwalkers' Song Da-young (composed) and Kim Ye-ji (composed) ▶'Ah! A total of four teams, including Byun Ji-min (composition, composition) ▶'AH, Jeon Dong-min (composition) and Idasom (composition) of MEN!, were selected as the final winners of the 2025 Stage-Up Contest. 'Emergency' is a musical about social conflicts during the industrialization of Korea in the 1970s, and 'Starwalkers' tells the story of women growing up against adversity at Harvard Observatory. 'Ah! Kyung-sook!' is a romantic comedy based on the motif of 'B personal affairs and love letter', and 'AH, MEN!' shows the bereaved families, survivors of the major disaster, confronting difficulties through solidarity.
An official from the CJ Cultural Foundation said "I think supporting musical creators is important in that they can reflect society and capture various voices beyond just fostering cultural contents."
