Norman Readers, 56, the lead actor of the popular American drama 『The Walking Dead』, and Mingus Readers, 25, the son of supermodel Helena Christensen, 56, have been arrested on charges of assaulting women.

On August 24 (local time), the New York City Police Department (NYPD) arrested Mingus Readers on charges of assault at his Manhattan home on Saturday, the 23rd, according to foreign media such as the US media 'USA Today' and 'Page Six'.

Police confirmed wounds throughout the victim (33)'s body at the scene, and Mingus Leaders was charged with third-degree assault and other charges.




According to prosecutors, Mingus Leaders allegedly used cruel and coercive violence against the victim. Later in court, he pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Mingus Leaders also had a history of being accused and convicted of assaulting a 24-year-old woman in 2022.

At the time, Mingus Leaders' lawyer at the time dismissed the allegations as a "baseless claim" and claimed Mingus Leaders was the victim.

Mingus Leaders debuted as a model at the age of 16, scouting from music festivals, and has worked with various brands, including walking the Calvin Klein runway at New York Fashion Week in 2017. However, the continued assault incidents are expected to deal a major blow to the activities.




Mingus Readers was born in 1999 to Norman Readers and Helena Christensen, and Norman Readers and Helena Christensen have maintained a friendly co-parenting relationship since their split in 2003.
