Doosan's Kim Taek-yeon tops Blue Dragon Ranking with overwhelming votes

In the vote, which lasted until the 24th, Kim Taek-yeon topped Samsung Lions' Won Tae-in with 67.89% of the vote. Kim Taek-yeon, who is on the verge of being a closer to the Doosan Bears, made a splendid debut by winning the KBO Rookie of the Year award in 2024. He also recorded the most saves (19 saves) by a high school graduate in the same year.
Fastballs and sliders with an average speed of 150 kilometers or more are among the top players in the KBO league. Kim Taek-yeon is growing into a closing pitcher who represents Korean baseball with her natural talent and hard work. He has been consistently performing this season, including achieving the youngest 30 saves in KBO history.
Meanwhile, 「Blue Dragon Ranking」 will be hosted by Sports Chosun and Celeb Champion, the organizers of the Blue Dragon Film Awards and the Blue Dragon Series Awards. This month's baseball player vote will be held monthly for 20 players selected based on individual performance and team contribution from the KBO League, and semi-annual winners will be selected every six months.
