Shin Aela Congratulates Cha In-pyo on Emerging Writer Award

On the 4th, Shin Ae-ra wrote on her SNS page, "I wore a bag every day to write, and at 5 p.m., I came in hungry and received an award full of this person."," he said, describing his recent situation.
Then "I received the New Actor Award just before 30, but I didn't expect to receive the Emerging Writer Award just before 60. I guess I shouldn't give up on dreams. We don't know when it'll happen," he said, expressing his respect and emotion toward his husband.
Earlier, Cha In-pyo announced on social media that he won the Hwang Soon-won Literary Award in 2025 for his novel 'Mermaid Hunt'. He said "I'm sorry to many people who are on the literary path, but I'm sorry that I won an award for being able to read my novel," he said.
"I will continue to think of this award as an encouragement to "use it well from now on" rather than a compliment "well written"."He showed a humble attitude, expressing his determination.
Cha In-pyo, who made his debut in the MBC drama `Three Families on One Roof' in 1993, shot to stardom the following year with `Love in Your arms.' Later, he also worked as a writer and published a novel 'Today', 'If One Day We Look at the Same Star', 'Mermaid Hunt'. In particular, 'If We Look at the Same Star someday' is a work that deals with the problem of Japanese Military Sexual Slavery and was selected as an essential book for the Department of Asia-Middle East at Oxford University in England.
