The 2nd PPF, hosted and organized by the creative group 'If You Go There' and 'Physical Performance Festival (PPF) Executive Committee' and sponsored by the Korea Theater Association, the Seoul Theater Association, and Germany 'Full Spin International Physical Theater Festival', will be held at the Daehangno District Art Hall from September 2 to September 7 (Sun).

PPF, which marks its second anniversary this year, is the only physical theater festival in Korea, and it will meet audiences with more diverse programs this year following last year.

On September 3 (Wednesday), the collaborative creation of the German Polkbang University of Arts and the German physical theater company 'KimchiBrot Connection'Dream Big, Bites (directed by Elizabeth Hoffman)' will be performed. It is a work that solves nightmares and insomnia caused by meritocracy with music and body language.

On September 4th (Wednesday) and 5th (Thursday), PPF's members Park Ho-bin, Lee Joon-ho, and Baek In-geun, choreographers, will hold workshops based on their respective movement methods. The workshop results will be put on stage as a performance.

In particular, this year's festival will be visited by Thomas Stich, the artistic director of Germany's 『Full Spin International Physical Theater Festival" and Elizabeth Hofmann, the executive director. They will host and perform 'Mask Acting Workshop' with Professor Paik Nam-young, a domestic mask theater expert.

The planned performance on September 6 (Saturday) will be performed twice, with the mask play 'Twentyya (directed by Paik Nam-young), which won the 35th Geochang International Theater Festival Grand Prize, Directing Award, and Male Actor Award in 2025.

And the closing performance on September 7 (Sun) will feature a movement play 'Proof'. 'Proof' is a work that aims to prove that the text is 'Human', and actor Lee Ho-young, who is showing solid acting skills by appearing in the role of 'Shakespeare in Love' which is currently being performed, is drawing attention.

Chairman of the Executive Committee Paik Nam-young (Professor Chung-Ang University) said, `I hope that in the reality of the domestic performance industry, the 'Physical Performance Festival', which aims for various expression methods based on the actor's body, will be of little help.'
