Actor Kim Seo-hyung will act as the narrator, and KBS will premiere a special three-part documentary "World 1945" on the 10th.

KBS 1TV Special Planned Trilogy Documentary 'World 1945 (planned by Son Jong-ho, lead producer Lee Ki-yeon, producer Kim Jong-seok, director Jeong Beom-soo, Park Abuse, and Kim Do-won, Sangbum Kim)' is a documentary that sheds light on the three keywords that have a profound impact on Korea's survival since the end of World War II '1945': oil, nuclear, and dollar.

Actor Kim Seo-hyung will narrate World 1945 to vividly convey the whirlwind of history that connects power. Acting actor Kim Seo-hyung has established himself as a trusted actor by leaving a strong presence through various characters such as 'SKY Castle', 'Mine', and 'Paper Moon'. Kim Seo-hyung will vividly embody important moments in history from the battlefield where the tank stopped, the flames of oil fields, and the talks of fate with a medium-low narration featuring a unique clear diction in Part 1 'Black Blood of Desire, Oil', raising expectations.




Meanwhile, a three-piece poster of 'World 1945' was also released. First, the poster of the first part showed a historical moment shortly after the end of World War II in 1945, when U.S. President Roosevelt held talks with the Saudi king to secure oil resources in the Middle East, just two months before his death. This poster itself marks the beginning of an era in which oil soon becomes 'power'. In this part, starting with this time, it is expected to examine why 'Oil' came to dominate the world after World War II.

The second part of the poster features bombers and mushroom clouds reminiscent of 'nuclear' and Truman, Churchill, and Stalin from 'Potsdam Conference' who opened the era of 'nuclear'. The 'nuclear' was also the 'key to destruction' that ended the world war. However, in 'World 1945', like the subtitle 'Death Journey', the real story of 'the Cold War era' that began with a nucleus will be depicted.

The final part 3 sheds light on the beginning of economic hegemony, which changed the world order to the center of '$'. As such, the poster of the third part shows Harry Dexter White, the vice finance minister, who represented the U.S. at the Bretton Woods conference that created the global financial order, and John Maynard Keynes, the U.K. representative economist, smiling brightly. The images of these two are superimposed on the gold and dollar images, making us wonder the origin of the 'dollar power' that affects the world situation to date.




Each poster captures a scene of real people in history intricately intertwined over oil, nuclear, and dollars in the `absolute ring of the present world' and conveys a heavy atmosphere like a movie. In particular, the phrase 'then the present has begun' on the poster is also related to the past in 2025, and the future also predicts that 'World 1945' will point to a huge flow that will be connected from the past and the present.
