The theater company Toenmaru announced on the 5th that "Kwak Do-won will be on stage in the play 'Tank named Desire' in October."
The Chariot named Desire is a 1974 play that earned author Williams the New York Top Critic's Association Award and the Pulitzer Prize, establishing her as a mainstream American playwright. It was also made into a film, and Vivian Lee as Blanche and Maron Brando as Stanley won four awards at the 24th Academy Awards: Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Art.
The play will feature Kwak Do-won, Song Sun-mi, Ha Ga-gam, Oh Jeong-yeon, and Bae Ki-sung, and Kwak Do-won will play the role of 'Stanley', who has a hot-tempered and outspoken personality.
