Meanwhile, Lee Kyung-kyu was accused of driving while on drugs in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, at 2 p.m. on June 8. Lee Kyung-kyu was booked on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act because he was negative on a drinking test, but was positive on a drug test.

Accordingly, Lee Kyung-kyu took medicine the day before the incident due to worsening symptoms of panic disorder, and the next day, he drove himself for hospital treatment while in poor condition. All drugs taken were legally prescribed after a specialist's diagnosis, he explained.
