British band Oasis is shocked and saddened by the incident in which a man fell to death during a performance at Wembley Stadium in London," he said, expressing his condolences.

According to the BBC and the Associated Press on the 4th (local time), the British Metropolitan Police were dispatched to the scene at 10:19 p.m. on the 3rd (local time) after receiving a report that a man had been injured at Wembley Stadium. According to police, a man in his 40s was found suffering from "trauma from the fall" and was immediately pronounced dead at the scene.

The deceased was found to have fallen from the top of the grandstand, which is about 50 meters above the ground. The police are asking for a report, saying, "At the time of the incident, the venue was very crowded with tens of thousands of spectators, and there are many people who have witnessed the crash or are likely to have filmed it on video."

The case will be transferred to the UK Health and Safety Executive in the future to investigate the specific cause of the accident and whether safety is managed.

An audience member who was sitting in the lower auditorium said on social media about the situation at the time. "At first, I thought my coat fell from the upstairs. Later, however, a man was lying on the concrete floor. It was terrible," he said, expressing his shock vividly at the time.

"I was shocked and saddened to hear that a fan sadly lost his life at last night's performance," Oasis said in an official statement. "My heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the deceased."

The accident occurred during Oasis's first reunion tour in 16 years and was the fourth performance of the tour, which began in Cardiff, Wales. Wembley Stadium announced that despite the tragic accident, the Sunday performance on the 4th will proceed as scheduled.

Formed in 1991, Oasis is an icon of Britpop that has sold more than 90 million records worldwide, leaving hits such as 'Don't Look Back in Anger', 'Live Forever', and 'Wonderwall'. However, it was disbanded in 2009 after a conflict between Liam and Noel Gallagher brothers and announced the news of the reunion in August 2024, drawing global attention.

Meanwhile, Oasis will hold a performance in Korea at Goyang Stadium on October 21.
