ADOR, the label of Hive Music Group, announced on the 20th that it has appointed Dokyung Lee Vice President (VP) as its new CEO.

As for the background of the new CEO's appointment, Audor explained that it is aimed at operating as a label that plans and manages artists' activities such as albums and performances.

Earlier in August last year, Adore appointed Kim Joo-young, a human resources management expert, to normalize the organization and management through the separation of production and management and the appropriate deployment of human resources. The board of directors judged that the original goal was achieved and decided to appoint a new representative familiar with label management practice to promote the growth of his artists and labels, and to enter an operating system that can support artists' activities and promote businesses quickly.

Lee joined Hive (formerly Big Hit Entertainment) in 2019, establishing Hive's company-wide vision and business strategy, and conducting various new businesses. In particular, he played a pivotal role in upgrading the solution business using artist IP by serving as the VP of IPX's business division, which promotes Hive Music Group's artist IP-based business in 2022. While overseeing the business of all artists of Hive Music Group, the company planned and promoted a large-scale collaboration project THE CITY that provides fans with a variety of entertainment by applying artist IP throughout the city where the performance is held.

With the appointment of the new CEO, Audor has an immediate support posture and advanced workforce structure for the artist's activities. The girl group New Jeans belongs to the group, and in June, it held the '2025 ADOR BOYS GLOBAL AUDITION (2025 Airdo Boys Global Audition)' to recruit members of the next generation of boy groups and is preparing to produce new artists.

Above all, CEO Kim Joo-young is stepping down from his position as head of the company during the exclusive contract conflict with his artist Newzins, and Lee, the new CEO, not former CEO Min Hee-jin's comeback, has been appointed, drawing attention from many people. This is because the members of the New Jeans wanted former CEO Min Hee-jin as a condition for his return to the door. Adore's exclusive contract validation lawsuit filed against Newgens members will be held on September 11th.
