 UN actor Choi Jung-won is charged with possession and stalking of a weapon... Court 'No access or contact'



It has been revealed that Choi Jeong-won, an actor from the United Nations, received emergency measures from the court on stalking charges.

According to an SBS report on the 19th, the Jungbu Police Station in Seoul booked Choi Jung-won on the 16th on charges of stalking, such as visiting a woman's acquaintance's house with a weapon. The police took emergency safety measures to protect the victims and then applied for emergency measures afterwards to the court.

The Seoul Central District Court approved the matter on the 18th, saying, `The matter is serious and there is a risk of repeated actions.' Choi Jung-won is prohibited from accessing the victim within 100m, and he cannot contact her through telecommunications such as mobile phones. Violation of this could result in imprisonment for up to one year or a fine of up to 10 million won. Police are currently investigating specific facts against Choi Jeong-won.




Earlier, Choi Jung-won was accused of being named Sanggannam in 2023. A man filed a lawsuit for damages worth 100 million won, claiming that his wife and Choi Jeong-won had an inappropriate relationship. In response, Choi Jeong-won was used for the divorce of the couple", and continued legal battles, such as filing a counterclaim.
