The play 'The Effect' is a story about 'Connie' and 'Tristan' who participated in clinical tests of antidepressants and 'Rona James' and 'Toby Cillie' who oversee the tests. It is a work that explores the nature of human emotions through the setting of a drug test, and at the same time asks questions about what choices we are living in the face of confused emotions, drawing attention as the world's first gender banding casting.
Lee Yun-ji performed enthusiastic performances by decomposing the character's inner side, which crosses the boundaries of sharp intelligence and emotion with an absorbing voice and eyes as a doctor 'Rona James' conducting the experiment. In addition, he led the audience to immerse themselves in deep agony and confusion about human emotions, and as the performance continued, he faced the complex human psychology fiercely and improved the completeness of the character.
The reason why he successfully finished the last performance of 'The Effect' on the 31st of last month was that "I think it was a work that felt like I was making with the audience more than any other performance.
