According to the Herald's exclusive report on the 6th, the Great Library was found dead at its home in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, around 8:40 a.m. that day.
The Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul said fire authorities and police who were dispatched after receiving a report from an acquaintance that they did not show up at the appointment time and could not be reached found the great library at the scene.
Police said no charges of murder, such as suicide or signs of external invasion, have been confirmed so far. The exact circumstances of the death are under investigation.
Dae Library is a representative of first-generation creators and is a popular YouTuber with 1.44 million subscribers. Focusing on game contents, he has been active in YouTube, Africa TV, and Twitch, and is considered a person who led the growth of the creator industry.
On the 4th, two days before his death, the deceased continued his activities by appearing in public, including attending the 2026 S/S Seoul Fashion Week held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul.
