G-Dragon has been awarded the youngest Okgwan Order of Cultural Merit, and (An Dong-kwon) 35th generation of the Privy Council!
G-Dragon of the group Big Bang expressed his feelings about being the youngest to win the Okgwan Order of Culture at the '2025 Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards'.

On the 24th, a short shorts video titled 'OfficialGDRAGON' was released on the YouTube channel 'OfficialGDRAGON'.

G-Dragon received the Okgwan Order of Cultural Merit along with voice actor Bae Han-sung and the late Jeon Yu-sung at the '2025 Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards' held at the Haeoreum Theater in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 23rd.




He took a commemorative photo with a hun brooch and a medal, saying, "I'm going to wear this brooch for a while." he smiled. Marking its 16th anniversary this year, the 「Korea Popular Culture and Arts Award」 is an event hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Creative Content Agency, a government award to commemorate the achievements of popular culture artists.

G-Dragon was awarded the Okgwan Order of Cultural Merit in recognition of his contribution to the global spread of the Korean Wave.
