Professor Han Seung-gyu of Korea University Guro Hospital publishes a secret of diabetes with 25 years of clinical experience

Professor Han Seung-gyu of plastic surgery at Korea University Guro Hospital published "Secrets of Diabetes" containing clinical and medical experience gained by treating numerous diabetic patients over the past 25 years.
"Secrets of Diabetes" is structured to intuitively grasp the pathophysiology, evaluation, and treatment process of diabetic foot based on abundant pictures and actual patient case photos. In particular, based on Professor Han's long insights, it contains detailed field-oriented treatment know-how that is difficult to access in medical textbooks or online.
In addition, medical staff in various fields, including plastic surgery, internal medicine, family medicine, orthopedic surgery, and prosthetic nurses, were organized so that they could be used immediately in practice, and complex medical concepts were kindly explained in familiar terms to medical staff to enhance understanding.
Professor Han Seung-gyu said, "This is the millennium since humans first recognized the diabetes outbreak in 1025, "Now it has become a very common disease, but for proper treatment, abundant clinical experience and deep understanding are required. Therefore, the book contains the experiences and insights acquired through patient treatment in a long clinical field, that is, the 'dark paper', not the 'formal paper' that anyone can easily obtain in the AI era. Meanwhile, Professor Han Seung-gyu, the originator of skin cancer and diabetes, is recognized as an innovative figure in the field of tissue engineering and cell therapy. With his extensive clinical experience and research achievements, he led the development of medicine by serving as the president of the Korean Diabetes Association, the president of the Korean Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and served as the president of the 18th and 19th Korea University Guro Hospital.
