「Beautiful Than Heaven」, which is set to premiere on April 19, depicts a reincarnation romance unfolding when Lee Hae-sook (Kim Hye-ja), an 80-year-old woman who arrived in heaven after her death, reunites with her husband Ko Nak-joon (Son Seok-gu), who returned to his 30s. It contains the second life that begins again at the end of life, the life of heaven where laughter and emotion intersect.
In the still cut of the character released on the 28th, Kim Hye-ja drew attention with her two faces that crossed heaven and earth. During his lifetime, he is depicted as a man of strong disposition that dominates the market, and after his death, he is depicted as a man of unexpected charm who shows off his quirky and lovely energy in heaven.
In particular, the scene of welcoming her husband with a fluttering expression in heaven with the 「Heavenly Instructions」 in hand draws viewers' expectations with the combination of innocence and joy like a girl from a spring picnic.
"Beautiful Than Heaven" is the third reunion between director Kim Seok-yoon and Kim Hye-ja, who directed "Blindingly" and was written with Kim in mind. Director Kim Seok-yoon once said, "This time, I am fully enjoying the character by masterfully digesting comedy," he said, giving high praise.
Meanwhile, in addition to Kim Hye-ja, solid actors such as Son Seok-gu, Han Ji-min, Lee Jung-eun, Cheon Ho-jin, and Ryu Deok-hwan are working together to predict synergy, Beautiful Than Heaven will air every Saturday at 10:40 p.m. and Sunday at 10:30 p.m. from April 19.
