Last Summer has released a highlight video that attracts the attention of prospective viewers.

KBS2's new Saturday miniseries "The Last Summer" (written by Jeon Yu-ri, director Min Yeon-hong) is a remodeled romance drama that unfolds when a man and a woman, who have been friends since childhood, face the truth of their first love hidden in Pandora's box.

The highlight video released showed the life of Baek Do-ha (Lee Jae-wook) and Song Ha-kyung (Choi Sung-eun) at a peanut restaurant between flirting and ssam. The video begins with Doha and Hakyung's cutthroat first meeting at a peanut restaurant in the summer of 12. Ha-kyung reveals her formidable personality by throwing pencils at Doha, who she has never seen before, and spraying ketchup at the table. Over the next 15 years, Doha and Hakyung's bickering over 99 wars and 99 peace agreements create a sweet and vicious atmosphere.

But "I didn't know then. The atmosphere shifts with Doha's narration that "I didn't expect this war to last this long. Ha-kyung, in mourning clothes, resents Doha and says something harsh not to see her again. In the scene where Ha-kyung reunites with Doha after a while and says "My summer will be terribly unlucky again this year," it stimulates curiosity about what is hidden about the two people in the present, who have changed from the pleasant past.

On the other hand, conflicts arise between the two as Doha claims ownership of Ha-kyung, who is trying to sell a peanut house. Eventually, their fight proceeds to a lawsuit, and she sharply confronts Doha, who mentions the memories she shared at a peanut restaurant, saying, "Don't force memories." It is revealed that Ha-kyung's anger is due to Doha's twin brother, Baek Do-young (Lee Jae-wook), who spent summer together as a child, adding to the interest.

Doha continues to live in a peanut house with Hakyung, who is tied to the past and avoids her. Among them, Seo Soo-hyuk (Kim Gun-woo), a lawyer in Doha, began to show interest little by little when he met the plaintiff Ha-kyung, and confessed that "Let's date, let's date", signaling a triangular relationship between Doha, Ha-kyung, and Su-hyuk.

Subsequently, Su-hyuk's confession sends a straight mode toward Ha-kyung. Even if Ha-kyung hates her, Doha's heart to like her during the summer will be able to work, and expectations for the main broadcast soar further.

As such, "Last Summer" raises the curiosity of prospective viewers by predicting various relationships and narratives, including Doha and Hakyung's bickering romance chemistry and Su-hyuk, who newly emerged between the two. In addition, attention is being paid to their performance with a combination of unique actors such as Lee Jae-wook, Choi Sung-eun, and Kim Gun-woo.

Meanwhile, KBS2's new Saturday miniseries 'Last Summer' will premiere at 9:20 p.m. on November 1.
