STUDIO XU Invite the 'Hunter with a Mess' Khan Series! Korea Unveiled Around the World Debuts



LG Uplus STUDIO X+U's mid-form drama 'The Hunter with the Mess' has been officially invited to the rendezvous section, a non-competitive division of the 8th Cannes International Series Festival. This work was produced with the support of the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Broadcasting and Communications Radio Promotion Agency.

'The Hunter with the Mess' is a criminal psychological thriller that begins when Se-hyun, a genius autopsy, discovers traces of his father's murder during an autopsy on the body. In the process of tracking down his father, he depicts a complicated inner world trying to erase his past.

The Cannes series is a prestigious festival that invites and introduces notable dramas from all over the world, and this year it will be held in Cannes, France from April 24 to 29. With this invitation, 'The Hunter with the Mess' will be introduced to global viewers first before its domestic release.




STUDIO X+U is invited to the Cannes series for the second consecutive year following last year's 'Taro', and is the only Korean telecommunications company to solidify its position at the global content festival. "We are very happy to demonstrate the status of K-content once again," said STUDIO X+U Lee Hyun-jae, head of the team. ""We look forward to capturing the hearts of viewers around the world with the 'Hunter with the Mess.'"

The work was co-produced by STUDIO X+U and Soul Creative, and will be released on U+tv and U+Mobiletv in 2025.
