Park Hyungsik's strong presence in the back of his head..Cha Woo-min, the last person to turn the tables on Treasure Island

Cha Woo-min marked the end of 'Treasure Island'.

On the 12th, SBS Friday-Saturday drama 「Treasure Island」 completed an eight-week journey. The viewership of the final episode, which was broadcast amid explosive interest, surpassed 15.4% nationwide and 15.7% in the metropolitan area, breaking its own highest ratings once again, and recording the highest ratings among miniseries aired this year.

Cha Woo-min's performance in the play can be cited as one of the reasons why he was able to penetrate 15% of his horse. He transformed into Jisun-woo, a hidden extramaritalist and secretive desire of Daesan, and showed a strong presence enough to shake the development of the second half.

In particular, the two faces of the twist shown by Cha Woo-min in the 15th and 16th episodes of 「Treasure Island」 instantly froze the small screen. In the meantime, he erased his innocent smile, which relieved the tense atmosphere that hung over the story, and was relentlessly running to occupy the Daesan district.

Ji Sun-woo (Cha Woo-min) has definitely changed as Seo Dong-ju (Park Hyung-sik). He devoted himself to studying for the GED and called Cha Kang-cheon (Woo Hyun) his father and established himself as a member of the Daesan Group. Then one day, Ji Sun-woo's sleeping greed was awakened and stimulated viewers' interest. He knew that Seo Dong-ju and Heo Tae-yoon (Yoon Sang-hyun) were half-brothers.

When the idea that the two could be a threat to them in the future stretched out indefinitely, Jisun-woo's mood became uncomfortable. He took advantage of being the only son of Chairman Cha Gang-cheon to overcome the crisis at hand.

Jisun-woo not only showed off his existence more and more to grow his position as the successor of Daesan, but also spared no effort to thoroughly put Seo Dong-ju at his feet. As a result, his warm eyes looking at Seo Dong-ju cooled down, and only a fishy smile hung on his face, doubling the tension.

In the second half of the play, Ji Sun-woo was reborn as the main character who caused a huge blow to viewers. While talking with Heo Tae-yoon, he became the one who broke the peace that came to the Daesan Group family. Ji Sun-woo's misdeeds, which no one expected, shocked him and further served as a decisive role in completing the climax.

The last shot in the 'Treasure Island' given by Cha Woo-min was powerful enough to cause a shock sensation on the small screen. His more mature acting skills gave him strength, so he became well-equipped with an impact that shook the hearts of viewers.

As such, Cha Woo-min imprinted his presence as an indispensable figure in the work as the development progressed. From a boy who was always bright to a villain with crooked ambition, he burned his intimate feelings and gave him a high sense of immersion.

Following the previous works 'Study Group' and 'MeloMovie', Chaumin, who also had a lot of fun with his impressive passionate performance in 'Treasure Island'. He plans to confirm a number of his next films early on, including the Netflix movie 『A History of Confession』 and the new drama 『Spirit Fingers』, and continue his nonstop acting.

In addition, as he stood out in various works, he was nominated for a male rookie acting award at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards with Gucci next month, making him an irrefutable leading actor. Attention is focusing on whether Cha Woo-min, who is growing as a true actor by filling in the filmography step by step, will be able to win the honor.
