Actor Ryu Deok-hwan expressed his feelings about working with Kim Hye-ja for the first time in a long time since 'The Country Diary' through 'Beautiful Than Heaven'.

Ryu Deok-hwan played a pastor with warm beliefs in JTBC's Saturday-Sunday drama "Beautiful Than Heaven" (directed by Kim Seok-yoon, scriptwriter Lee Nam-gyu, Kim Soo-jin, production studio Phoenix, SLL), and led the play's emotions in a stable manner by portraying delicate emotions and solid inner sides.

Ryu Deok-hwan touched each other's wounds in the play with Kim Hye-ja and shared a heavy resonance by building a relationship.

Ryu Deok-hwan conveyed the story by saying, `The director said 'I want to cast Kim Hye-ja because I think it would be good if it was a relationship she forgot about, but it resonated greatly in that part.' Then "At first, I tried to pretend to be good and confident, but I had a lot of worries because I was pressed by the teacher's energy. In particular, I remember being very nervous in the second and third parts."

However, thanks to the comfortable atmosphere in the field, I gradually opened up my mind. He also had a lot of thoughts that he shouldn't be someone in his work. But from the fourth part, I'll just play and do it. I was able to work more comfortably when I changed my mind to do it like I was drinking while preparing for the exhibition.

The acting chemistry with Kim Hye-ja was an unforgettable experience for Ryu Deok-hwan as well. He said "Teachers play pranks more than give advice directly. One day, he suddenly called me and gave me a hand heart," he said with a smile. Then "Thanks to such a natural scene, I had an experience of rolling around even if I didn't do anything." In the past, I had a lot of pressure to lead as the main character, but this time, the director and the teacher were so good at the center, so I felt so comfortable," he added.

He "The teacher looked at me for a long time in one scene, and I cried without realizing it because I was immersed as if I were being sucked into my eyes. I thought this is what acting is like," he confessed. He said "I am surprised when there is an actor who brings out greater emotions than I have prepared, and Kim Hye-ja was that person."

He also recalled spending a warm time at Kim Hye-ja's house before filming. "I was invited to visit the teacher's house before filming. It was much more comfortable when I saw it at home and we had a drink after a long time. I would have been more nervous without that time."

Meanwhile, 「Beautiful Than Heaven」, in which Ryu Deok-hwan appeared, ended with 8.3% nationwide (based on paid households) and 8.9% in the Seoul metropolitan area on the 25th (based on Nielsen Korea).
