In the original Genie TV drama and `Your Taste' broadcast on ENA, Kim Shin-rok plays Jin Myung-sook, a hidden master with 15 years of experience in a rice soup restaurant, deliciously digesting the character's unexpected charm and living emotional lines.
In the second episode, Jin Myung-sook's three-dimensional side shone. From a girl who smiles shyly while watching a drama, to a veteran who delivers meticulous know-how even with one ingredient, he saved a three-dimensional effect. In particular, the process of being scouted as a chef naturally 'Jeongje' by reciting the recipe to Mo Yeon-ju, played by Ko Min-si, left a great impression on viewers.
Afterwards, Jin Myung-sook, who joined Jeong-jeong, started to greet guests with a big smile, but the unexpected appearance of a person causes a crisis. With the appearance of Shin Chun-seung (Yoo Soo-bin), who worked with him at a rice soup restaurant in the past, Jin Myung-sook's past is revealed in front of Han Beom-woo (Kang Ha-neul) and Mo Yeon-ju. However, he did not shy away and corrected the misunderstanding with sincere explanations, showing the pulpit of a character named Jin Myung-sook.
Above all, Kim Shin-rok's acting changes increased the immersion of the play. Earlier this year, he exuded a fearsome atmosphere with his overwhelming presence in Unhaas, transforming into a simple and affectionate character in this work, exuding a harmless charm with a lovely smile with eyes and a slick tone.
Kim Shin-rok designs emotions delicately every moment and brings the play to life. Expectations are growing as to what kind of growth story he will develop in the future, having once again proven his broad acting spectrum through 'Your Taste'.
Meanwhile, 'Your Taste' will air every Monday and Tuesday at 10 p.m. on ENA, and will be released on VOD for free on KT Genie TV immediately after the main broadcast. It is also available on Netflix.
